About Me

Keenan is a mountain-born, Brooklyn-based film director known for grounding outlandish concepts in authentic emotion. Keenan combines his 12 years as a circus performer and 6 years in the film industry—3 of which were spent at Saturday Night Live—to merge technical expertise with artistry. His work explores life’s social absurdities through playful visuals and nuanced performances. His most recent short film, Seedless, was shot by SNL cinematographer Andy Kugler and colored by Primetime Emmy Award-winning colorist Elias Nousiopoulos. Currently, Keenan assists directors with creative writing and research & development for ad campaigns, including Jack Daniel’s, Fenty, and Puma.
